Of all the people the writer has met in his 50-plus years of playing the game, one Scottish legend stands out above the rest.
Golf in County Donegal, Ireland, is both rugged and seemingly remote, which are excellent reasons for planning a trip to the country’s northwest region known as “The Wild Atlantic Way.”
Dan Vukelich’s recent trip was not about playing the big-name courses throughout the country, but finding a more authentic reason for playing the game.
In addition to the Oklahoma Golf Trail, the state is in talks to build a new golf resort, led by the creators of Bandon Dunes Golf Resort, in the panhandle.
