Upper Deck Golf announces its fifth year of collaboration with Stand Up To Cancer

April 25, 2024 — Upper Deck Golf is pleased to announce a multi-year extension of their collaboration with Stand Up To Cancer® (SU2C).

SU2C funds groundbreaking cancer research to detect, intercept and treat cancers with the aspiration to cure all patients. Connecting the top minds in science, SU2C has been at the forefront of cutting-edge cancer research for over 15 years, facilitating collaborations that move new therapies quickly from the laboratory to the patient. SU2C’s relationship with the entertainment community helps raise awareness and builds broad public support for SU2C’s mission.

“I can’t think of a person who has not been touched by cancer in one way or another, so the collaboration really resonates with all of our staff and all of our golfers. By collaborating with SU2C, we are helping raise funds that contribute to the newest and most promising cancer treatments to help patients today,” said Carly Graham, Co-Founder of Upper Deck Golf.

Upper Deck Golf was recently acquired by Marc Bender and Adam Wachter, Managing Partners of Hidden Links, Golfpac Travel, Tee Times USA, and Go Play Golf gift card. The family of golf brands has a history of partnering with organizations with a mission to prevent, treat, and cure cancer.

In a joint statement, Bender and Wachter said, “The fight against cancer is an important priority to us, and our brands are thankful to be able to use golf and entertainment as a platform to propel and continue the battle. SU2C is a long-standing and reputable organization making great strides in funding vital research and bringing awareness to a disease that impacts so many people.”

Graham added, “We got involved with SU2C because we have a very close connection to cancer through family members in the fight and the unfortunate loss of some close friends. SU2C is so important to Upper Deck Golf because of their mission to fund groundbreaking research.”

“Upper Deck Golf, its staff and golfers understand the essential need for scientific collaboration to advance cancer research. We remain incredibly grateful for Upper Deck Golf’s continued support of SU2C’s efforts to end this disease,” said Sue Schwartz, Stand Up To Cancer Co-Founder.

In 2024, Upper Deck expects to have up to 25 events throughout the USA in Major League Baseball, NFL, and college stadiums.
