Cue the Symbols!
Courses, players, holes… what’s left to rank in golf? Logos. The Best Logos in Golf, a new four-color, 256-page book from Back9 Press, celebrates 100 of the most meaningful, memorable, and visually compelling club emblems in the game. Written by award-winning golf journalist George Peper—former editor of GOLF Magazine, editor of LINKS Magazine, and author of 20 books—the beautifully illustrated volume offers equal parts golf history, design, storytelling, and spirited debate.
It features full-color imagery and high-resolution club logos, explores the fascinating stories behind each selection, and includes a foreword by PGA Tour veteran Brad Faxon and commentary by leading golf logo designers.
At $79.99, The Best Logos in Golf makes a memorable holiday gift for golfers, club members, golf travelers, collectors, and anyone who appreciates the game’s traditions and visual history. For someone extra special on the list, a limited collector’s edition, signed and presented in a slipcase, is available for $149.99. Available from Back9 Press and Amazon.

Release Your Inner Architect
For the person who draws hole designs on napkins, Design Boot Camp may be the high-end ticket you’re looking for. The setting is the Perry Maxwell-designed Prairie Dunes Country Club in November 2027.
The five-day session—a fundraising initiative of the American Society of Golf Course Architects Foundation—will offer aspiring golf course designers and architecture enthusiasts the chance to work closely with eight renowned architects on a special site. The curriculum will take participants from the classroom, where they will learn the foundations and principles of golf course design, to the site and onto this classic golf course. The experience costs $20,000 per person and is limited to 16 students. Best of all, $15,000 qualifies as a tax deductible donation.
