I love Fancourt and have been sending golfers here for nearly 30 years since it opened and have stayed a number of times over the years and have great memories of playing golf and having some superb meals with friends.
Fancourt is nestled in the picturesque town of George along South Africa’s scenic Garden Route and epitomizes luxury and excellence in golfing hospitality. With three championship courses including the renowned The Links which was host to the President’s Cup with Tiger Woods, Jack Nicklaus et al it is the perfect place to base yourself whilst in this scenic region.
I’m currently out in Knysna just an hour from Fancourt and have friends flying out this week and we’ll be playing all the top course in the area including Fancourt, Simola, Pezula and George.
