For all the conversation surrounding growing the game, a tangible shift is happening indoors as Five Iron Golf brings back its Women’s Golf Month initiative this June.
Entering its third consecutive year, Women’s Golf Month has become one of the company’s largest annual programs, built as much around community and social access as it is instruction.
In partnership with Golf Digest, the month-long campaign will run across Five Iron Golf locations nationwide, offering up to 90 minutes of free golf for women every Wednesday, $5 introductory memberships, social hours from 5 to 8 p.m., complimentary swing tips from coaches and community activations that provide both instructional support and networking opportunities.
“Women’s Golf Month has evolved into something much bigger than a promotion for us,” said co-founder and chief development officer Nora Dunnan. “It’s become an important part of how we continue building community around the game and creating environments where more women feel comfortable showing up, trying golf, improving their game, and making it part of their social lives.”
New to this year’s initiative, Five Iron Golf will expand partnerships with women-led golf organizations including Ladies Who Golf, Cherry Golf Club, She Golfs ATL, Girls on the Green Golf Network, and Fore the Ladies.
For any new player, indoor golf offerings are a first step – not a substitute – to a premier playing and hospitality experience. With Women’s Golf Month, Five Iron Golf is shaping where and how they start.
MARRIOTT OFFERS THE FULL SAWGRASS EXPERIENCE

This year, Sawgrass Marriott Golf Resort & Spa invites travelers to come for the golf, but stay for the summer … or at least until September 6.
Pairing a preferred tee time at TPC Sawgrass with private beach access and poolside downtime, the Sawgrass Experience Package is a modern golf getaway, where your accommodations and its amenities stretch the day as opposed to structuring it.
The experience includes a two-night stay at the resort, one round of golf on the Valley Course, one round of golf on the iconic Stadium Course, a bucket of 10 balls for the Marriott Floating Hole, a $50 resort credit, and daily access to Vernon’s Breakfast Buffet.
OLD NAME, NEW MODEL

The Patch is open for play.
Augusta Municipal Golf Course earned the moniker in the 1950s when a golfer remarked that the course “looked like a cabbage patch.”
Cabbage patch no more, the renovated course reopened to the public on April 15.
Tom Fazio and Beau Welling led the redesign of the original 18-holes, while Tiger Woods and his TGR Design firm spearheaded the creation of a new, 9-hole short course called The Loop at The Patch.
Offering 18 holes starting at $25 for local residents and $85 for non-locals, The Patch is a best-in-class public golf experience.
