About Us

Katharine Dyson has been traveling and playing golf for most of her life. Author of The 100 Best Romantic Resorts of the World and The Finger Lakes Book she is a columnist, and contributor to several national magazines, newspapers and web sites on a variety of travel subjects and golf — a number of her columns deal with women's golf issues.She has traveled extensively from Africa and Australia to the South Pacific and Europe. Growing up in Skaneateles, New York, she has lived in Massachusetts and Connecticut.

Bill Giering, a native of Albany, New York, a golf fanatic, plays to a 9 handicap and practices the game on his own par 3 hole on his property. Bill has been writing about golf, travel and golf fashion for several years for national travel & golf style magazines and web sites. He writes Ask the Travel Guy for the Spotlight Newspaper Group in Albany and has played golf on every continent. "Just One," Bill's recent initiative, challenges each person to introduce Just One to the game to help the game to grow.
